CHEBARKUL, Russia, Aug. 8 (ChinaMil) --The campaign operations of the China-Russia joint anti-terrorism military exercise codenamed "Peace Mission 2013" were launched at 10:00 on August 7, 2013, local time. The Joint Directing Department announced the exercise situation and issued combat orders.
At the Chebarkul training ground, reporters learnt from the Joint Directing Department that according to the combat order, the two sides will conduct campaign planning drills mainly including coordinating campaign intentions, making campaign determinations, preparing operational plans and organizing coordination among troops. As an important step before the actual-troop exercise, the drills will be mainly conducted in the form of map maneuvers.
It is also learnt that the adaptive training by the participating troops of the two sides on the Chebarkul training ground is proceeding smoothly.
