Hou Shusen meets with Pakistani guests

BEIJING, June 19 (ChinaMil) -- Hou Shusen, deputy chief of general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), met with Tariq, the visiting director of the Foreign Cooperation Bureau under the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) of the Pakistan Armed Forces, and his party on the morning of June 18, 2013 in Beijing.

Hou Shusen expressed that China and Pakistan share all-weather friendship. Currently, the international and regional situations have undergone profound and complex changes. The Chinese side is willing to work together with the Pakistani side to constantly consolidate the foundation of the traditional friendship between the two militaries, enrich the contents of pragmatic cooperation and expand cooperation areas, so as to push forward the friendly relations between the two militaries.

Tariq expressed that the Pakistani side cherishes the traditional Pakistan-China friendship, and is willing to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese side in various fields of national defense and army building.
