Sixth-round China-U.S. strategic security and multilateral arms control negotiation held

BEIJING, June 7 (ChinaMil) -- The 6th round of strategic security and multilateral arms control negotiation between China and the United States was held on June 6, 2013 in Beijing.

The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on such issues as the establishment of a new-type relationship between the two great powers, regional hotspot issues and multilateral arms control, and agreed to continue to conduct dialogues and cooperation, enhance mutual strategic security trust, promote the development of China-US relations and jointly maintain international and regional peace and stability on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit.
