Xu Qiliang tours Beijing MAC

Beijing, April 15 (ChinaMil) -- Xu Qiliang, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and vice chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), recently made an investigation and study tour in the Beijing Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).

Xu Qiliang inspected weaponry and equipment, command information system and combat readiness duty system in related troop units of the Beijing MAC of the PLA, watched drills and demonstrations on their training grounds, and went deep into companies of the troop units to talk with servicemen and ask detailed information on their learning, training and life in military barracks.

Li An'dong, director of the Science and Technology Committee of the PLA General Armaments Department (GAD) and deputy director of the GAD, Zhang Shibo and Liu Fulian, respectively commander and political commissar of the Beijing MAC of the PLA, and leaders of the General Office of the CMC joined the investigation and study tour.
