25th International Medical Instruments & Equipment Exhibition held in Beijing

The 25th International Medical Instruments & Equipment Exhibition organized by the Health Department of the General Logistics Department (GLD) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing from March 28 to 30，2013.

It is reported that this exhibition integrates equipment display, academic exchange and technological verification, and is so far the largest and most fully-functional exhibition which attracted 500-plus well-known medical equipment manufacturers and medical research institutions from 20-odd countries and regions around the world to attend.

The exhibition set up two special display areas, i.e., the military medical equipment construction area and the medical health achievement promotion and conversion area, displaying in a concentrated way the equipment involved in the construction of hospitals and nursing homes in harsh and remote areas as well as the oxygen manufacture and provision equipment in plateau area. It also showcased the latest scientific and technological achievements made in the field of military medicine and health in recent years.

Zhao Keshi, member of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and director of the GLD of the PLA ， and Qin Yinhe, deputy director of the GLD, visited the exhibition.
