In Shanghai, an art museum has opened a special exhibition celebrating Britain’s most famous spy Bond James Bond. The show includes costumes and props from all 23 Bond films.
If you’ve seen the 1964 movie "Goldfinger", you might recognize this as the dead body of Jill Masterson. It is one of 587 Bond-related items on display at the Shanghai Minsheng Art Museum. Other exhibits include one of 007’s cars, an Aston Martin, a golden gun, costumes worn by some of the famous Bond girls, and story boards from several of his movies. Shanghai is the show’s first stop in Asia.
Designer Ab Rogers said, “This is the biggest exhibition of James Bond we’ve done today to the tour. The exhibition is designed to be as theatrical as possible, and to take in the world of James Bond. So there you will looking for exhibition and demystifying what’s behind the creation of the film. We want to indulge the visitors in an immersive environment.”
Rogers says he has received help from film archive companies around the world, as well as many of the actors who have appeared in Bond movies over the past 50 years. The Shanghai show is part of a world tour that started last summer in London. It runs until the end of June.
Exhibition marks 10th anniversary of Leslie Cheung's death
