If you’ve ever received, or written, a love letter that you’re particularly proud of then listen up. In Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality, a Love Letters Global Collection Ceremony has recently been launched.

Some 108 love letters will be selected from around the world and carved into a long corridor in Pengshui County on Chinese lovers’ day, which this year falls on August 13th.

People from more than 20 countries can participate in this love-letter event, which will last for two-and-a-half months. The love letters can be typed or written in different languages. People can not only submit their own love letters, but also those of their parents and there’s stiff competition as the top prize winner will receive 200,000 yuan.
