SHANGHAI will launch a new professional training program for physicians to cultivate young doctors' ability in new drug development, Shanghai Medical and Health Development Foundation announced today.
The program, jointly launched with international pharmaceutical giant Sanofi, will target at Shanghai young physicians in the aspects of liver diseases, gastric cancer, teaching doctors how to report the first-hand patient information to laboratory to improve the efficiency and effects of new drug development.
"The connection between clinical practice and basic research will further benefit medical industry and patient's treatment," said Li Xuanhai, the foundation director.
