Afghan soldiers trained to take over security duties from NATO

Xinhua)  09:30, April 08, 2013

Afghan Commando soldiers take part in a military training in Balkh province in northern Afghanistan, on April 6, 2013. The Afghan government and NATO Training Mission in Afghanistan (NTM-A) stepped up its efforts to train and equip Afghan police and army after NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) handed over the security responsibilities to Afghan security forces, which was part of a process through 2014 when Afghanistan would take over the full leadership of its own security duties.
