HANOI, July 20 (Xinhua) -- China's Shandong breezed past Kazakhstan 3-0 to finish third at the 10th international women's volleyball tournament (VTV Eximbank Cup 2013) in Vietnam's northern Ninh Binh province on Saturday.
With the three straight sets of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-17, Shandong players pocketed a prize of 5,000 U.S. dollars.
Host Vietnam will play China's Jiangsu in the final match later on Saturday. So far, both Vietnam and Jiangsu have both recorded five victories and one loss.
Earlier on Friday, Australia edged Thailand 3-2 to claim the fifth place in the 5th-6th playoff.
The VTV Eximbank Cup 2013 takes place from July 13-20 with the participation of six teams from Australia, China, Kazakhstan, Thailand and Vietnam.
