LONDON, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Sixth seed Li Na of China said it was pretty far to be the champion after she reached her three-year-best stage on Thursday and had witnessed so many big names' early exits at Wimbledon.

The Chinese top player overcame a blip in second set and rallied to beat Simona Halep 6-2, 1-6 and 6-0 to enter the third round, which was her first return to the last-32 of this Grand Slam event since 2010.

"I think I was pretty good beginning of the match even until the first set," said the 31-year-old. She only needed 29 minutes to win the opening set.

"But at end of the first set, she called official. I thought, maybe she retire or something. I already like lose concentration on the court."

The world number 32 of Romania, who asked to receive a lengthy treatment after the opening set, found her pace in the next set to regain the momentum, causing Li Na to suffer most of her 14 unforced errors in total of the 85-minute match.
