The reaction has been swift and overwhelmingly positive following the revelation by NBA center Jason Collins that he is gay. The 34-year-old becomes the only active player in North American sports to make such a public admission.
Now, comes the next step what happens when he steps back onto the court. He told ABC’s George Stephanapoulos that he believes things will be the same.
"...happiest I have ever been", Jason Collins, first openly gay NNA player said.
Collins has been applauded by people from all walks of life after his courageous decision to come out as gay in a self-written cover story for Sports Illustrated.
