International cycling event kicks off in Fuzhou

The 2012 Tour of Fuzhou will kick off on Nov 18 with more than 200 riders.
The three-day tour will take in some of the tourist landmarks of Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian province, and include famous mountain resorts Guling and Yunding.

The race, which marks the province's first international cycling event, will cover a distance of about 300 kilometers.

Twenty-two professional cycling teams, hailing from Hong Kong, Taiwan and various European countries, including Germany and the Netherlands, will participate in the race.
