Chinese stocks open lower Tuesday

BEIJING, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opened at 2,309.16 points, down 0.06 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.10 percent lower at 9,268.17.
