APF biggest logistics base inaugurated

The comprehensive logistics support base of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force (APF) was officially set up with an inauguration ceremony held in Beijing, March 7, 2013.

The newly established logistics support base is the combination of five units under the Logistics Department of the APF, namely, the logistics base, the logistics equipment research institute, the material procurement station and the disease prevention and control center.

It is the largest base of its kind in the APF and entrusted with more than 10 missions including logistics material supply, logistics support for emergency handling, logistics equipment R&D, sanitation and epidemic prevention, medicine supervision, material procurement and so on.
