LONDON, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- A helicopter has crashed into a crane near Wandsworth Road, south of River Thames in central London, the city's fire service confirmed on Wednesday.
"We're attending reports of a helicopter crash near Wandsworth Road in South Lambeth," London Fire Brigade said.
Casualties of the accident are still unknown.
London's Air Ambulance has confirmed that the helicopter crashed does not belong to it. "Our medical team are at the incident. Our thoughts are with everyone involved," it said.
Local media reported quoting witnesses that the crash also involved two cars, and several fire engines are at the scene with smoke visible near the River Thames.
