6.1-magnitude quake hits Prince Edward Islands region: CENC

BEIJING, July 22 (Xinhua) -- A 6.1-magnitude quake jolted Prince Edward Islands region at 3:01 p.m. Monday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 30 km, was monitored at 46 degrees south latitude and 34.8 degrees east longitude, the center said.
