BANGKOK, June 3 (Xinhua) -- At least three workers were killed and four others injured on Monday as a cliffside collapsed and buried a quarry in Thailand, police said, adding the casualty might rise as several workers are reportedly trapped under the rocks.
The incident occurred in Khao Yoi district of Phechaburi Priovince, about 110 km southwest of the capital Bangkok following days of heavy rains.
The victims include two Myanmar workers and one Thai backhone driver, the Bangkok Post reported. Three backhoes, three trucks transporting stone, and two pickup trucks were also destroyed.
