The White House opens its garden to the public

People join the spring garden tour of the White House in Washington DC, the United States, on Sunday, April 14, 2013. The White House opened its gates this weekend to the public, allowing ticketed visitors in for the annual garden tour despite sequester cuts that have led to the cancellation of regular tours. Guests with free tickets could view the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, the Rose Garden and the South Lawn of the White House, as well as the White House Kitchen Garden. [Photo: CRIENGLISH.com/Zhang Xu]
