MOSCOW, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- Moscow is dissatisfied with the reasons for the postponement of talks over the Iranian nuclear program, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Monday.
"The meeting was actually postponed and, regrettably, the cause of the delays was absolutely dissatisfactory," Lavrov told reporters after meeting with his Belgian counterpart Didier Reynders.
Lavrov referred to the debates over the venue for such a meeting "childish naughtiness."
"We are ready to meet in any place as soon as possible and we believe the essence of our talks is more important than the environment of this or that city," he said.
Nuclear diplomacy between Iran and the group comprised of the United States, China, Russia, France, Germany and Britain has been adjourned in deadlock since a meeting ended without a breakthrough in June 2012.
