On the morning of September 16, Wang Zongnan, Chairman of Bright Food Group, accepted the exclusive interview by journalists Kashiwara Hiroshi and Naoki Matsuda from Nikkei at the head office of Tokyo-based ISE Foods Inc. Media journalists from Japanese magazines like Nature and Agriculture and Broiler and Layer Information also attended the interview.
Wang answered journalists’ questions on core businesses and development objectives of Bright Food Group and its cooperation on layer breeding with ISE Foods Inc.
Wang said that China was a country with population of over 1.3 billion, huge annual egg consumption amount and increasingly growing demands for egg products. ISE Foods Inc. boasted leading layer breeding technique and abundant production experience, while Bright Food Group enjoyed rich land resources and wide market distribution network. Thus, the cooperation between Bright Food Group and ISE Foods Inc. would bring forth noticeable benefits for both sides.
Wang mentioned that Bright Food Group, having a stock of 300,000 layers now, was conducting a profound and sincere negotiation with ISE Foods Inc. on mutual cooperation. In the first phase of cooperation, both parties intended to breed 2.4 million layers, and RMB400 million was expected to be invested. (By Yuan Ri)
