Amputee college student chases his dream with feet (2)

Fan Ling was brought up in an ordinary famer’s family in southeastern China’s Fujian province. When he was five, he climbed on a high-voltage transformer near his primary school. Unfortunately, he got shocked and lost both of his arms and an ear. “Although fate brought me pain, I repay it with songs.”

Fan overcame unimaginable difficulties and learnt to use his feet to have meals, dress himself, turn the pages while reading and write. He even managed to play table tennis with his foot. In 2010, he was admitted to Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University.
