China is consistently prudent in handling export of weaponry and equipment

Some reporter asked for comments on a British media’s report that the armed rebels of Syria shot down an airplane of Syria's government forces by an anti-aircraft guided missile made in China.

Yang Yujun stated that being consistently prudent in handling the export of weaponry and equipment, China has established complete management regulations and systems for equipment export to rigorously fulfill its international obligations and international promises. China has always followed the principle of no damage to regional and world peace and stability and no interference in the internal affairs of the importing country. There's always an ulterior motive behind the related report meant to incite discord between China and the related country.

In regards to the possibility for the U.S. to take military actions against Syria, Yang Yujun expresseed that since it hasn’t happened yet, it's improper to make any comment. He also emphasized that China has always held a consistent position in objectivity and justice with regards to the Syrian issue. China calls on each side to keep calm and exert self-control in a bid to hold on to a correct track of political solution.
