Yue Shixin, political commissar of the PLA Hong Kong Garrison, and Dongzhao Hongping, sponsor of the Hong Kong Teenager Military Summer Camp, attended and addressed the ceremony.

The military summer camp will end on July 28 for graduation. It will include military and discipline training, special lectures, artistic and athletic activities. It is expected that the students' national awareness will be enhanced through this training.

This form of "military training" has already become a memorable summer life experience for some Hong Kong youths and enhanced the communication and exchanges between the officers and men of the Hong Kong Garrison and the youths in Hong Kong.
