Top 8: Xingcheng Ancient Town(兴城古城)
Xingcheng is an ancient town with cultural riches as well as green hills, a seascape, hot springs and tiny islets. The town is double-walled, a tradition passed down from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) some 500 years ago. Although its outer wall has collapsed over time due to erosion, the inner wall is in good shape after generations of maintenance and renovation. It is one of the four well-preserved Ming-Dynasty ancient towns in China, attracting millions of visitors every year.
