Fu Baoshi is a Chinese painter credited with revolutionizing the art of Chinese ink painting in the 20th century. Trained both in China and Japan, Fu formed his own distinctive style incorporating various western techniques. His landscape paintings were cleverly completed with dots and inking methods and he laid great emphasis on emotional participation. He was known for always working while inebriated.
