At present, 60 percent of dairy companies and dairy suppliers in the world are using New Zealand milk. The New Zealand dairy products accounted for about 40 percent of all imports of baby foods in China.

Taiwan detected DCD trace

Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) recently detected very small amount of DCD in imported New Zealand milk powder.

TFDA believes that such amount of DCD is unlikely to be health risk, and consumers do not need to worry too much.

Dairy expert Wang Dingmian said yesterday that this incident was not caused by human, and the harm is not as serious as the melamine incident impact, so consumers should be rational.
