China's Yunnan starts post-earthquake reconstruction (2)

A magnitude 5.7 earthquake in September this year damaged tens of thousands of buildings in Yiliang. The county has started the reconstruction of 20,093 residential buildings and reinforcement of 24,744 damaged buildings by Dec. 12. The government of Yiliang County decides to complete reinforcement of 25,986 buildings before early February of next year and fully rebuild 22,040 residential buildings before June 2013.
