One of the must-visit spots in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is the "Grand Bazaar." In today's Uygur language, bazaar means marketplace.

Located in Urumqi, the Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar is the largest bazaar in the world, with a total building area of 100,000 square meters. It is a hub and showcase center for Xinjiang's tourism products, as well as a landmark in Urumqi.

Built in 2003, the Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar houses more than 3,000 shops, offering a wide variety of products to both domestic and international visitors. Fragrant melons, unique snacks, and a dazzling array of handicrafts are all available.
