From Luoyang to the world: Connecting cities through culture

During the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue in Luoyang, central China’s Henan Province, mayors and city representatives from around the world visited the Longmen Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to explore the city's rich cultural heritage up close.

During the visit, representatives from Cambodia and Uganda shared their views on cultural heritage preservation and international cooperation. They stressed the value of sharing cultural heritage with the world and strengthening ties between cities through tourism exchanges and cultural activities.
