Foreign journalists invited for on-site reporting after mudslide hits China’s Gyirong Port

Reporters from the US, UK, Russia, India, Pakistan, Singapore, Brazil and other countries were invited for on-site reporting at Gyirong Port in China's Xizang Autonomous Region on September 5-6 and attended the briefing in Xizang on Sunday. The Nepal 8.26 mudslide disaster that struck Gyirong Port has left 43 people dead and 519 missing as of 6 pm on September 6, according to the emergency rescue command center.
