China, U.S. in communication with each other regarding Trump's visit: spokesperson

BEIJING, March 16 (Xinhua) -- China and the United States are in communication with each other regarding U.S. President Donald Trump's China visit, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said here on Monday.

Spokesperson Lin Jian made the remarks at a daily press briefing in response to a related query, adding head-of-state diplomacy plays an irreplaceable strategic leading role in China-U.S. relations.
