China optimizes export tax rebate management for higher efficiency
BEIJING, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- China's State Taxation Administration (STA) said Sunday it has released an announcement to adjust and improve export tax rebate management regulations to make declaration and handling processes more convenient and efficient.
The announcement integrates various export tax rebate and exemption regulations issued at different times into a unified set of administrative measures. It clarifies matters such as record filing, declarations, processing, and service management, helping taxpayers better understand and comply with the rules.
The new measures optimize rebate and exemption procedures and leverage big data and new technologies to further facilitate high-efficiency processing for taxpayers.
For the vast majority of enterprises, the announcement will not significantly change their existing declaration practices, enabling a seamless transition for most export tax rebate and exemption businesses, according to an official with the STA's goods and services tax department.
