BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Li Xi on Tuesday met with Nigerien Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, who is in Beijing for the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).

Li, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, stated China's readiness to enhance political mutual trust with Niger, strengthen practical cooperation and deepen exchanges at all levels across various fields, aiming to achieve new outcomes in bilateral relations.

Zeine expressed gratitude for China's support and said he looks forward to further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation across all sectors and working together to write a new chapter in the development of Niger-China relations.
