Chinese vice president meets Nigerien prime minister

BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice President Han Zheng on Tuesday met with Nigerien Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, who is in Beijing for the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
China stands ready to work with Niger to implement the outcomes of the summit and take bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation to a new level, Han said.
Niger looks forward to enhancing practical cooperation between the two countries in areas of economy, trade, investment, energy, resources and infrastructure construction, Zeine said.
