China releases report on user attention to Chinese journals
BEIJING, May 17 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) on Friday released a report on user attention to Chinese journals, selecting 213 most popular Chinese journals on its affiliated academic platform.
The report tracks the number of readings and downloads on the National Center for Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation to generate the attention index.
Based on the attention index of journals and the promotional efforts and user activities of their institutions in 2023, 213 journals among 1,999 have been recognized as the most popular, while 48 institutions have been awarded "best users."
The center, regarded as the most important public academic platform for disseminating knowledge in philosophy and social sciences, now has over 26 million academic resource items, including content from nearly 90,000 Chinese institutions and over 1,300 foreign academic institutions.
Currently, the center has over 7.5 million individual users from more than 190 countries and regions, and records nearly 1.5 billion visits.
