HANGZHOU, May 16 (Xinhua) -- The trade of agricultural and food products between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs) has grown significantly in recent years, according to customs statistics.

China's trade with CEECs has grown at an average annual rate of 8.1 percent since 2012, and the growth rate in the trade of agricultural and food products is even more remarkable.

The two-way trade of these products totaled 720 million U.S. dollars from January to April, surging 34 percent year on year.

China will work with CEECs to promote the facilitation of customs clearance, accelerate CEEC exports of agricultural and food products to China, stabilize and smooth the international supply chain, and boost post-COVID-19 economic and trade recovery, said Wang Lingjun, deputy head of the General Administration of Customs.
