The Kaifu Logistics and Port Service Center, Changsha’s first of its kind, was established in Kaifu District, Changsha, on March 13.
Kaifu District is rich in logistics and port resources. The Changsha Jinxia Bonded Logistics Center, Xianing Water Transportation Port, Xianing Railway Port, and Changsha Jinxia Cross-border E-commerce Supervision Center are settled here. In 2018, the total value of import and export logistics in the Jinxia Port Area reached over 6.27 billion USD, contributing tax collection of about 3.44 billion CNY. Over the past 4 years, the district has opened 11 Hunan-Europe freight train routes. The freight train operation capability ranked among the top five in China.
The newly-established center will coordinate with the port, railway and customs departments to better serve Changsha’s open economy development.
