The First Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine officially opened the TCM Child Care Clinic on May 30, 2018. Composed of a number of pediatric experts, it strives to help children with their growth. Professor Wang Mengqing, director of the hospital’s Department of Pediatrics, introduced that children's health care mainly studies the growth and development of children at all ages and their influencing factors. It aims to protect and promote children's physical and mental health and social adaptability through prevention and treatment. 　　

In the first month of its opening, the alliance will provide children with free weight, height, and bone age tests to assess their growth and development.
