Have you ever seen lanterns made of PVC pipes, plastic bowls and corrugated paper? To celebrate the upcoming Lantern Festival, Donglanwan community in Lituo Street, Yuhua District of Changsha, launched a competition of creative lanterns on Mar 1. Residents showed their handmade lanterns made of obsolete materials, a low-carbon way to adorn their community.
