Zero-waste international trail running challenge

(People's Daily Online)    13:34, January 26, 2018

China Ultra 100 Pu'er 2018 took place at Pu'er Sun-River National Park from January 13 to 14, with the participation of more than 300 runners including world trail stars, as well as domestic trail professionals and running enthusiasts.

A highlight of this event was "zero waste". The organizer provided no disposable consumables like disposable paper cup, power bowl and plastic gloves, but encouraged runners to bring recyclable articles. By implanting and advocating the concept of "zero waste" throughout the event, the organizer enabled running enthusiasts to compete with world trail stars, and mobilized runners to guard environment with spectators.
