Wearable smart glasses, jointly developed by China's State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company and Global Energy Interconnection Research Institute, have successfully passed the evaluation conducted by experts from the State Grid Information and Telecommunication Department, Xinhua reported.
The glasses are designed using Android and Windows operating systems. Cutting-edge technologies including big data and intelligent sensing and interaction make the glasses capable of map navigation, voice recognition, automatic photography and remote interaction. By using the smart glasses, workers can collect, record and analyze power equipment data. The remote consultation system allows experts to guide workers dealing with problems at the site.
