Police dogs undergo training in Yichang, Hubei province. The Yichang Police Dog Unit was formed in February, and currently contains nine police dogs. Species represented in the unit include Labrador retriever and Springer Spaniel. The dogs perform special canine tasks such as detecting drugs, firearms and explosives. (Chinanews.com)
