On the morning of November 17, the Signing Ceremony of BYD's High-end Intelligent Terminal Manufacturing Projects was held in Xi'an.
Lou Qinjian, Secretary of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee, met with Wang Chuanfu, Chairman of BYD and attended the signing ceremony. Hu Heping, Governor of Shaanxi Province, was present and addressed the ceremony. Wei Minzhou, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Xi'an Municipal Committee; and Liu Xiaoyan, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee attended the ceremony. Shangguan Jiqing, Mayor of Xi'an and Wang delivered addressed. Zhao Hongzhuan and Lyu Jian, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xi'an Municipal Committee, attended the ceremony.
Settling in Shaanxi is a right choice for BYD, said Wang, adding that BYD will continue to increase investment and ensure the implementation of related agreements to make a positive contribution to the development of Shaanxi.
Following the meeting, Xi'an signed agreements with BYD. Under these agreements, BYD's high-end intelligent terminal manufacturing project, new energy bus project and straddle-type monorail project will settle in Xi'an, with a total investment of some five billion yuan and an output value of some 43 billion yuan at their full capacity.
