Sidelights: Chinese actors prepare for APEC show (4)

Chinese actors have presented a wonderful performance to the political and economic heavyweights attending the APEC meetings. To prepare for the show, actors reportedly slept just 2 hours each night, spending the rest of their time rehearsing. Some even slept on the sofa between rehearsals.

The classical Chinese opera and costume show, titled "Grandiose Fashion of China," was finally staged at the city hall of Lima, Peru on Nov. 20. Peruvian congress members, politicians, officials and overseas Chinese leaders watched the show. The performance was also staged at the opening ceremony of the APEC CEO Summit.
