Experiment allows children to meet their mothers '20 years older'

An education institution conducted a special parent-child experiment in Kunming, Yunnan province on Nov. 6. Make-up artists made eight mothers look 20 years older than their actual ages, and the made-up mothers were then revealed to their children. The children's different reactions were recorded after the unveiling.

According to Wan Rui, the organizer of the activity, the experiment aims to facilitate stronger relationships between parents and children in modern society, encouraging children to engage with and understand their parents' difficulties. This, Wan believes, may push them to cherish family.
