
Johannesburg Sep 12 - The FNB Joburg Art Fair was held in Sandton Convention Center, Johannesburg on last weekend with the largest number of visitors to date.
As the first international art fair on the continent, the FNB Joburg Art Fair has been supporting the contemporary arts landscape in Africa. This year, the Fair featured 80 exhibitors from 17 countries across Africa, Europe and the United States, hosting local and international media, artists, collectors, school groups and esteemed curators.
Besides South Africa, African artists from Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Somalia and Sudan also took part in the Fair.
