On August 18, Pu’er National Park was awarded “2016 Yunnan Top 10 Specialty Tourism Landmarks.”
During the contest of “Pure Yunnan • New Discoveries” 2016 Yunnan Top 10 Specialty Tourism Landmarks sponsored by the Press Office of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province, Pu’er National Park left a very deep impression on netizens and reviewers due to its privileged natural landscape and resources and thus finally got elected.
Pu’er National Park is the first national AAAA-level scenic spot in Pu’er City. There are 2,104 types of higher plants than ferns and 812 types of wild animals. Therefore, the park is called “the last heaven of wildlife in China,” as well as the only place in China where people can have close contact with more than 20 types of wild animals such as little pandas, slow loris, long-arm animals and so on that live in natural state.
