Duan Jingli has become China's first athlete to claim an Olympic medal in a women's rowing single event.
Duan took bronze in 7:24.13 on Saturday in the women's single sculls at the 2016 Rio Olympics Games.
"I am satisfied with my performance today to clinch an Olympic medal has always been my dream. I have never imagined that I can realize my dream today."
Kimberley Brennan from Australia claimed the gold medal. It was Australia's second gold medal in women's rowing.
Genevra Stone from the United States took silver, which was also her first Olympic medal.
