
LHASA, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Eight villagers were buried by landslides in China's Tibet Autonomous Region on Friday, local publicity department said Saturday night.
Nine villagers were taking shelter from the rain in a cave in Paldenze Village, Medog County in Nyingchi City when the landslides occured.
One villager was pulled out, severely injured, and sent to hospital.
The rescue operation continues.
